The Palace Amusement Company will be presenting it’s last showing at the New Kingston Drive-in cinema this Sunday, August 28th.
The cinema, opened on Friday, October 23, 2020, was originally intended to safely showcase popular films in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Each viewer was given the opportunity to watch their desired film in the comfort of their own cars and within the country’s six feet apart COVID-19 protocol.
Sadly, the closing of the cinema now means Jamaicans will have to revert back to watching movies and films the old fashioned way.

Looking to experience the drive-in cinema for the last time?
Deals include half off this Monday and Tuesday, and $2800 per car Wednesday to Sunday.
The regular showtime will be 7:30pm every night this week.
