State-owned refinery, Petrojam, unveiled a regimen of marginal price cuts for a third consecutive week, effective midnight Thursday (August 21).

In its closely watched petroleum product price index, Petrojam reduced 87-octane gasolene by an anaemic 12 cents, opening at a revised baseline of J$159.16.

The next-to-nothing price cuts were consistent across Petrojam’s fuel index, excluding propane and asphalt, which rose 49 cents and 44 cents respectively.
