Tripadvisor has revealed its annual ‘Travelers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Beaches for 2025,’ with beaches from across the globe earning coveted spots—but, no Jamaican beach has made the list this year.

The rankings highlight renowned coastal destinations, including Elafonissi Beach in Greece, Banana Beach in Phuket, Thailand, and Eagle Beach in Aruba. Several Caribbean beaches secured positions, such as Varadero Beach in Cuba, Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos, and Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.

The absence of Jamaican beaches is unexpected, given the island’s global reputation for stunning shorelines. Seven Mile Beach in Negril, known for its white sands and turquoise waters, and Doctor’s Cave Beach in Montego Bay, celebrated for its clear waters and marine life, have long been favourites among travellers.

Although Jamaica may not be featured this year, Jamaica’s beaches continue to attract visitors seeking beauty, relaxation, and culture.
