Nottingham Rap duo Young T & Bugsey known for their hit record Don’t Rush, are keeping the momentum dropping their new single Rio Grande, produced by Young T.
Young T & Bugsey reinterpret Sizzla’s ‘Solid As A Rock’ with their own ‘Rio Grande’, highlighting the resilience of standing strong. The song’s music video, shot in Jamaica, captures the vibrant culture and natural beauty of the country, showcasing their unstoppable status in the music scene.
In addition to being Brit-nominated and Mobo award winners, Young T & Bugsey have a vast catalogue full of singles that have reached the top of the charts. Notable songs include 4×4, Ay Caramba, Strike a Pose, Don’t Rush and others.
Their collaborations have earned them recognition as trailblazers in the UK music market. They have collaborated with renowned musicians including Headie One, Aitch, BLXST, and Fredo, resulting in several platinum-certified and top-10 hits.

What’s changed?
Recent events have marked significant turning points in Bugsey’s life, including the arrival of his child and his long-awaited UK citizenship. Driven by a desire to show off their skills to the world, Young T, the creative force behind much of their production and a proud father of a 6-year-old daughter, continues to create amazing beats.
The pair have been spotted front row at London Fashion Week for designers like Labrum, Ahluwalia, and Robyn Lynch as they prepare for new music this year.
They met when they were 15 years old and started on a remarkable professional and personal journey, finding comfort and support in each other’s company through life’s many ups and downs.

Giving back
The duo holds deep gratitude towards their community, particularly the youth clubs in Nottingham,
which played a pivotal role in shaping their journey. In a heartfelt gesture, at the onset of the last
school year in September 2023, they organised a Back To School event in their local community,
helping children by providing essential school supplies.
Continuing their journey, Young T & Bugsey aspire to extend their impact beyond music, spreading positivity and success to inspire others. They aim to redefine the role of artists, offering a fresh perspective on creativity and success in the modern world.
Last month, Young T & Bugsey returned following a two-year hiatus with Been A Minute, marking the dawn of the next phase of their music, which has already garnered support from BBC 1xtra’s Eddie Kadi, Capital Xtra’s DJ Semtex & Manny Norte as well as Apple Musics Charlie Sloth.
