Novak Djokovic could be going on a deep run this Wimbledon and in his match against Dan Evans, Novak Djokovic delivered a ruthless performance, overpowering the British veteran in straight sets.
The 38-year-old Serb, a seven-time champion at SW19 was in near flawless form, cruising to a 6-3, 6-2, 6-0 victory. Evans, currently ranked 154th and playing on a wildcard, had no answers for his opponent.
Djokovic, seeded sixth this year, showed exactly why he remains one of the sport’s greatest returners, easily breaking Evans six times.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion is now one step closer to matching Roger Federer’s record of eight Wimbledon men’s singles titles and edging closer to that elusive 25th major, an achievement he’s been chasing since his 2023 US Open triumph.
Next up for Djokovic is an all-Serbian clash against Miomir Kecmanovic, with a spot in the last 16 at stake. As the last remaining member of tennis’ legendary ‘Big Three’ following Federer and Nadal’s retirements, Djokovic continues to prove he’s still the man to beat.
