National Rums of Jamaica (NRJ), along with its CEO Martha Miller, were honoured with prestigious nomination certificates at the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) M&E Awards nomination cocktail which was held at the BMW showroom.

The event, attended by professionals from various industries, highlighted the achievements and excellence of Jamaica’s manufacturing and exporting sector.

NRJ has garnered nominations in an array of esteemed categories, notably including Manufacturer of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Large Champion Exporter in Manufacturing, Buy Jamaican, and NCBJ Quality and Standards. These nominations underscore the exceptional quality and undeniable contributions of National Rums to the flourishing Jamaican economy.

Adding to the prestigious accolades, Martha Miller, a trailblazer as the first female CEO in the local rum industry, has earned a well-deserved nomination in the category of Woman in Manufacturing and Exporting. This nomination emphasises Miller’s unwavering commitment, visionary leadership, and tireless endeavours in elevating Jamaica’s brand on the global stage.

In response to this recognition, Miller said, “I am profoundly honoured to have received this nomination. The fact that my remarkable team was inspired to nominate me underscores the significance of the collective challenges we’ve overcome. It is a testament to our unwavering dedication.”
