

American rapper Jason Terrence Phillips, more commonly known as Jadakiss, will be among the international headliners at the Sashi Live concert on Saturday, May 25, in Plantation Cove, St Ann.
He will be joining popular international acts such as Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes, and Keyshia Cole for the epic return of the music festival this Saturday.
The rapper was born on May 27 in Yonkers, New York. He developed a love for hip hop at a tender age, where he started out by engaging in freestyle rapping as early as 12 years old.
He released his first studio album, Kiss the Game Goodbye, in August 2001 on the Ruff Ryders label. It features singles such as Show Discipline, Knock Yourself Out and, I’m a Gansta.

Artists such as The Alchemist, rapper DMX, Eve, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Swizz Beatz, and others were featured on the album.
Jadakiss is also an entrepreneur with several business ventures. Jadakiss and rapper Styles P are co-owners of Juices for Life, a juice bar in the Bronx, New York.
In 2022, he announced the launch of a family-owned coffee company, Kiss Cafe, which he shares with his father, Bob Phillips, and his son, Jaewon Phillips.
The rapper is a father of four: Jaewon, Jaidyon, and his twins Jamir and Josh.
