Odell Beckham Jr. is in hot water with the NFL.

The star wide receiver announced Tuesday (October 7) that he’s been suspended six games for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). But according to OBJ, this whole situation is more frustrating than scandalous.

The issue apparently started last season during his stint with the Miami Dolphins. One of his tests came back with abnormal testosterone levels, raising red flags. Beckham says he never dodged a test, never failed one, and insists he’s never tried to gain an edge by bending the rules.

Now 32, Beckham pointed out that if he were ever going to use something shady, it would’ve been during the brutal injury stretches that derailed parts of his career. But, as he put it, that’s just not who he is.

He even poked fun at the idea, saying if anyone took a good look at his body, they’d know he’s not ‘juicing’, as it’s just genetics and grind.

While the suspension stings, what really gets under his skin is the accusation itself. To him, being linked to PEDs isn’t just a headline; it’s a hit to his name. He maintains he’s clean and always has been.

Still, Beckham’s not throwing in the towel. He’s accepted the league’s decision and says he’s ready to suit up again, even if it means signing for the veteran minimum. Whether a team takes that chance remains to be seen, but what OBJ wants right now is one more shot to prove he’s still got it, no shortcuts needed.
