Florida-based outsourcing customer services provider, The Office Gurus is expanding across the Caribbean and Latin America.

The company has announced that it will be expanding to the Dominican Republic while beefing up its operations in Jamaica, Belize and El Salvador. To this end, contact centre firm disclosed plans to hire more than 2,000 new staff across the Caribbean and El Salvador.

The Office Gurus has long been a favourite of Jamaica, where it runs more than three delivery centres. In its statement confirming the recruitment drive, The Office Gurus did not disclose how many people it would hire in Jamaica. However, it is anticipated that a sizable amount of new recruits would be based in Jamaica, as the company ramps up business there.

“The Dominican Republic offers an educated and eager workforce with close cultural affinity to the US.”

The new office in the Dominican Republic is scheduled to open sometime this month. Leide reported that the company is seeing increased demand for services with its existing clients.
