Omni Industries celebrated 50th anniversary in style

Plastic fittings manufacturer, Omni Industries celebrated its 50th anniversary over a week ago with a week of vibrant events that honoured its legacy and milestones. 

The celebrations began on Sunday, September 22 with a thanksgiving service at Phillippo Baptist Church in Spanish Town, where Omni donated J$500,000 to support the church’s solar power project.

On Wednesday, September 25, the company honoured its late founder by renaming its administrative building as ‘The Uwe Kumst Building.

Company Chairman, Von White reflected on Kumst’s visionary leadership while the day also included a Customer Appreciation Day with special discounts for patrons.

The grand finale of the week culminated on Friday, September 27 with an elegant Anniversary Dinner and Long Service Awards at Caymanas Golf Club, where 30 long-serving employees were honoured. 

Great conversations and even better company! There was much support for Omni 50th as Managing Director at Schoeller Allibert International GmbH, Michael Rinderle (left) and President of Toko Trading Corporation, Tom van der Boon (center) joined in the celebrations with Patrick Kumst, Omni Industries Managing Director.

The night ended with a lively poolside performance by Christopher Martin, closing the celebration on a high note.
