Once again we have hit the weekend, and with binge watching being a great way to pass the time, Our Today recommends a few series to reflect the times.

Against the backdrop of World Environmental Awareness Week, observed from June 1-8, here are a few environment-friendly films to fuel your weekend binge.

5. Avatar

Plot: Julia Roberts plays Erin Brockovich in this true story. The unemployed Brockovich, who is also a single mother, gets a job as a legal assistant and, after discovering a major company’s dark secret, almost single-handedly brings the company down.

3. Wall-E

On his adventure, he meets The Lorax, guardian of the tress, who speaks on their behalf.

1. The Day After Tomorrow

Creator: Roland Emmerich, Jeffrey Nachmanoff

Genres: Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

Plot: A sudden worldwide storm brings the world into a new ice age, and paleoclimatologist Jack Hall must make his way from Washington D.C. to New York City to save his son, with whom he has a rocky relationship, from the cross-hairs of the disaster.
