Dancehall artiste Valiant had recently come under fire from members of the Rastafarian community for the release of his new song ‘Rasta’ and its music video; but the backlash has done little to stop the song from trending.

The music video for the track sees Valiant decked out in the Rastafarian colours (red, green and yellow). He then declares that he has been living like a Rasta, while also promoting actions that go against the Rastafarian faith.

Seemingly disturbed by the song and video, Grammy award winning artiste Kabaka Pyramid accused Valiant of being disrespectful and making a mockery of the Rastafarian community.

The song sparked a debate on social media, with supporters of both artiste weighing in on the discussion. What are your thoughts on the song and music video featured below?
