Dancehall artiste RajahWild promises to continue his release of songs that glorify drugs and violence, despite pleas made from government officials and citizens for more conscious music.

Last year artiste in the dancehall fraternity came under heavy fire for their release of music that glorify scamming, violence and drug abuse.

Government officials had claimed that the increase in violence, particularly in schools, was as a result of the music that students were listening.

In response to the issue, the Broadcasting Commission issued a ban on music glorifying violence, drugs and scamming on the public airwaves.

However, RajahWild says he loves drugs and violence and will continue to produce songs that glorify their use.
