The competition among banks in Jamaica is fierce, and, with so many entities tussling for repeat customers, these financial institutions have been upping their game to keep everyday stakeholders happy with a seamless online interface.

The latest poll by Our Today gives the best online banking experience to Scotiabank Jamaica.

When asked “Which is the most user-friendly bank in Jamaica with regard to online banking services?”, a whopping 50 per cent of respondents selected Scotiabank.

Just over a quarter of Our Today readers, or 29 per cent, voted for National Commercial Bank (NCB), while another 14 per cent sided with Jamaica National (JN) Bank as the best online platform.

Sagicor Bank also found some favour among the Our Today poll, however, the institution gathered a mere seven per cent of votes tabulated.

There were no votes recorded for First Global Bank (FGB) nor CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank.

In a similar poll done by Our Today on its Twitter page, Scotiabank also registered overwhelming appeal among Jamaican online bank users, with a 56 per cent vote favour for its online banking platform.

Both NCB and Sagicor Bank tied with 14 per cent of respondent votes, while the ‘other’ category received 16 per cent.
