Palace Amusement set to bring ‘Titanic’ back to the big screen for Valentine’s Day

Palace Amusement is set to treat movie lovers to a Valentine’s Day special with the remastered version of the 1997 classic romance film, Titanic, directed by James Cameron, starting on February 10.

The film, which was remastered in 3D 4K HDR, will be available in theatres for a limited time to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary.

The romance film is centred on the love story of two individuals from different socio-economic backgrounds, played by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, whose love must stand the test of time and the sinking of the famous RMS Titanic.

In addition to Winslet and DiCaprio, the film features actors Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Frances Fisher, Gloria Stuart, Bernard Hill, Jonathon Hyde, Victor Garber and Bill Paxton.

Premiering in 1997, the film became to all-time top grossing movie worldwide, until it was overtaken by Avatar, also directed by Cameron, in 2009 and then Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

The film is rated PG 13. Tickets are now on sale.
