Pandohie appointed to BOJ board of directors

The Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) is advising that Richard Pandohie, CEO of the Seprod Group, has been appointed to its board of directors.

In a statement on Friday (March 24), the BOJ indicated that Pandohie’s appointment, which took effect on January 31, will run until April 15, 2025, having received his Instrument of Appointment from the Governor-General’s office.

A chemical engineer by profession and a business leader in the manufacturing and distribution sector, Pandohie has served in several capacities including the immediate past president of the Jamaica Manufacturers & Exporters Association (JMEA), directorship at the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) and Red Stripe Jamaica Ltd.

He has also served as co-chair of the Economic Policy Committee of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) and as former chairman of the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA).
