Board expresses confidence in continued growth

Multifaceted distribution and manufacturing company, Paramount Trading (Jamaica) has just released its Audited Financial Statements and Reports for the financial year ended May 31, 2026, showing net profit almost quadrupling to $99.1 million.
This is up from the $26.1 million posted in the previous financial year. This resulted in earnings per share of $0.06, up from $0.02.
Revenue for the financial year totalled $1.69 billion, slightly down from the $1.72 billion booked in 2025, while gross profit improved to $651.5 million (2025: $646.6 million).
Operating profit grew significantly to $215.9 million, a 65% increase over the $130.8 million reported in the prior year, reflecting improved cost management and operational efficiency across the company’s business segments.
Healthy cash position
Total shareholders’ equity strengthened to $1.12 billion while the company maintained a healthy cash position with cash and cash equivalents increasing to $220.2 million at year-end. During the year, the Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.026 per share, reflecting the Company’s continued commitment to delivering returns to its shareholders.
