Recruits Loncey Earle as new Head of Business – Lubricants

Paramount Trading (Jamaica) is close to striking a deal with an international lubricant brand to produce that company’s branded products in Jamaica for both the local and export markets.
While the name of the international company has not been disclosed, Our Today understands that the manufacturing partnership deal is far advanced and just needs the contract documents to be signed. This initiative is expected to reshape and strengthen Paramount’s lubricants operations, positioning Paramount to expand its manufacturing footprint and deepen its presence across the regional and international markets.
In furtherance of this deal, Paramount has recruited Loncey Earle as Head of Business – Lubricants, effective August 3, 2026. In his new role, Mr Earle will lead the strategic direction of Paramount’s lubricants business, overseeing commercial growth, technical support and OEM partnerships, while playing a central role in advancing the company’s manufacturing ambitions.
Vast years of experience
The Board of Directors and management extend a warm welcome to Earle and express confidence that his depth of technical expertise, industry relationships and commercial leadership will be instrumental in advancing the Company’s lubricants strategy. Earle brings close to three decades of experience across the lubricants and fuel industries in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
His career spans technical, commercial and leadership roles with several major regional and international petroleum marketing companies, where he has led tenders for lubricants, OEM engagements, technical sales strategies and B2B growth initiatives.
Earle holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Pure and Applied Chemistry from The University of the West Indies, Mona and a Diploma in Management Studies from the Jamaica Institute of Management, together with certifications in supervisory management, negotiation and customer relationship management.
