Leoda Bradshaw, a long-time partner of Member of Parliament for Kingston Eastern and Port Royal Phillip Paulwell, is among four suspects arrested in connection with the disappearance of the politician’s daughter and her mother.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey, Bradshaw, a 34-year-old American citizen employed by the US Navy, was taken into custody under suspicions of kidnapping and conspiracy to commit murder.
“The evidence that we have garnered so far is very strong and can stand up to any scrutiny in the court of law,” said Bailey.

He added that the investigations have morphed into a complex case, and the police are conducting their final assessments before formal charges can be laid against the American citizen and the other three suspects, who remain unnamed.
Bradshaw, who shares a daughter with the Opposition member of parliament, previously wrote in a statement that she had nothing to do with the disappearance of 27-year-old Toshyna Patterson and 10-month-old Sarayah Paulwell.
Patterson and her daughter went missing on September 9. They were last seen standing at the gate of their Gilmour Drive premises in St Andrew.
