Petersfield High and Edwin Allen High Schools recently received much-needed support toward their participation for April’s Penn Relays in Philadelphia.

Recognising the importance of holistic athlete development, CIBC joined forces with the schools to provide crucial nutritional support to their two relay teams participating in the Penn Relays.

The sponsorship aimed to ensure that the athletes had access to the necessary resources to perform at their peak during the prestigious event.

“We are proud to support Petersfield High School and Edwin Allen High School in their journey to the Penn Relays,” said Nigel Holness, managing director CIBC Caribbean. “Our collaboration highlights our shared commitment to investing in the development of young athletes and empowering them to reach their full potential.”

Petersfield coach Machel Wolrey expressed gratitude for the partnership, stating, “The support from CIBC Caribbean has been invaluable in preparing our athletes for the Penn Relays. This collaboration not only enhances their performance but also reinforces the importance of community engagement in fostering talent and achieving success.”
