Person of interest reportedly flees island after death of social media influencer ‘Slickianna’

Rushane Patterson, the man listed as a person if interest for the murder of social media influencer Aneka ‘Slickianna’ Townsend, is believed to have left the island.

Reports reaching Our Today are that Patterson boarded a flight to Atlanta, Georgia in the United States, at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.

The police made two pleas for Patterson to turn himself in after it was reported that Townsend was last seen with him.

He was given a deadline of Saturday (October 22), but did not turn himself in. The police then made another plea for Patterson to turn himself in on Sunday but he has not.

The body of Townsend was found floating at Reading, St. James on Friday. Her body was identified by family members.

The investigation is ongoing.
