Come Thursday (March 16), prices tumble at the pumps after the latest cost regimen update by state-owned refinery Petrojam.

Petrojam, in its closely watched petroleum product price index, raised the cost of 87-octane gasolene by 25 cents to now close at a baseline price of J$167.82.

The price cuts were consistent in nearly all its commonly sought products, except butane, which now costs 25 cents more than the prior week.

It is expected that retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the announced prices.
