Jamaican motorists and industry giants benefit from another wave of savings this week, as state-owned refinery, Petrojam, unveils the latest update to its pricing regimen.

Effective today (March 23), 87-octane gasolene will cost $3.06 less than its baseline price from the week prior. The product now opens at $164.76 per litre.

The price cuts were consistent across Petrojam’s closely watched petroleum product price index, with the decrease most pronounced for automotive diesel, butane, propane, kerosene and ultra-low-sulphur diesel.

While being the second consecutive week of reprieve, retailers are expected to add their respective mark-ups to the announced prices.
