A taste of Mexico in Jamaica

An explosion of flavours, a fiesta full of fun, and bottomless Heineken-infused margaritas sum up the historic celebration of Cinco De Mayo at the Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen last Friday (May 5).
The Heineken-sponsored event delivered on its promise to recreate a piece of Mexico through an amazing evening of delicious Mexican-inspired food, from savory quesadillas to loaded tacos, and rice bowls. It was a true meat lovers affair.
The epic celebration welcomed a large crowd of party-goers, beer-lovers, and specially invited cultural attaches from the Embassy of Mexico to Jamaica, Elizabeth Reyes, Susana Lira, David Nava, Christina Bastiere, and Fernando Vistrain among others who lounged in the undeniable embrace from the Heineken and Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen.

Enjoying the best spins of Jamexican culture by DJ Rio and Brush1 ‘The Road Marshal,’ the evening brewed an unforgettable Cinco De Mayo La’Fiesta for patrons who showed up in their most stylish outfits and danced salsa all night long, an experience that was not worth the miss!
