Digicel Foundation has partnered with local edtech company STEAMHouse to empower the next generation of girls in technology as part of the Crea+her Hackathon and Girls in ICT School Tour Programme throughout April.

During the school tour, members of the Digicel leadership team conducted workshops at the chosen high schools across the countries.

Girls in ICT Day is an international initiative aimed at encouraging young girls to pursue careers in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Celebrated annually on the fourth Thursday of April, this day highlights the importance of promoting gender equality and bridging the digital gender gap in the field of technology.
