The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) saw a huge turnout for its 81st Annual Conference at the National Arena today.
The conference came in at a cost of J$79 million and the JLP is no doubt happy with the outcome.
This will be the last conference before the general election which is expected to be called next year
Prime Minister Andrew Holness during his presentation made a number of announcements including subsidised transportation for school children, reduced bureaucracy, off-peak JPS bills and pre-paid electricity.
He stressed that the JLP cares about the welfare of all Jamaicans and that it must be given a mandate to continue bringing greater prosperity to Jamaicans.
