The American Women’s Group of Jamaica (AWG) held its annual scholarship fundraiser on May 6, at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in St Andrew.

Established by a small band of women with ties to the US Embassy in Kingston, it has expanded to include Jamaicans, Americans, diplomats, and a multinational group of volunteers who focus on helping the less fortunate children of Jamaica, 

The group is currently celebrating its 38th year in operation.
