Plans in effect to transform Jamaica’s postal service

Jamaica Post celebrated its 350th Anniversary Stamp launch on Monday, October 29 at the at the Post and Telecommunications Department in Kingston.

There, Post Master General Lincoln Allen shared that plans to transform the postal service to make it more efficient, profitable and customer-centric are now in effect.

Creating their nine strategic objectives, the journey to rebrand, reposition and retool the organization has commenced.

Allen further shared that the renovation of some of the company’s locations have begun adding that premium service offerings will be enhanced and expanded.

Allen shared that “We intend to improve our communication with our stakeholders, with the introduction of a new PBX system, as well as with the strengthening of our customer service capacity within the department.”
