Just when we received the good news that murders and crimes are receding, comes the shocking case of the rape and murder of 9-year-old Kelsey Cassidy Ferrigon on Friday May 9.
On Mother’s Day, Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness visited the community of Job Lane, in Spanish Town, where Kelsey lived with her family, to offer comfort and support for the grieving.

While there, Holness committed that the government will review the legislation on sexual offences, specifically the Sex Offender Registry to determine giving public access to identify sex predaitor near them.
the man suspected in the heinous crime, Giovanni Ellis, was fatally shot by the police in Sandy Bay, Clarendon on Monday.
