PNP announces campaign launch for Christopher Brown in South East St Mary

The People’s National Party (PNP) has announced the official campaign launch for Christopher Brown, the party’s parliamentary candidate for the Constituency of South East St Mary. 

The event will take place on Sunday, November 3, at 4:00 PM at the Annotto Bay Primary School. 

PNP President Mark Golding and other key party members will join to discuss the party’s vision and plans for the upcoming general election.

The PNP described Brown as a “proud product” of South East St Mary, who understands the unique challenges faced by his community. “With one of the highest unemployment rates in Jamaica and significant rural terrain hindering development, Christopher is committed to driving positive change,” the party said.

According to the party, his vision for the constituency includes:

  • Infrastructure Modernization: Creating an urban area to enhance accessibility and development.
  • Market and Transport Upgrades: Revamping local markets and transport centres to stimulate economic activity.
  • Road Network Improvements: Ensuring safe and efficient transport links for residents.
  • Consistent Water Access: Delivering reliable water supply to improve quality of life.
  • Housing Upgrades: Modernizing housing stock to ensure safer and more comfortable living conditions.
  • Economic Transformation: Establishing a cultural centre, a technology centre, and promoting modernized agricultural practices to drive sustainable growth.

“This campaign is about the people of South East St Mary,” said Brown. “Together, we can transform our community into a thriving, connected, and prosperous area.”

The PNP invites all residents and stakeholders to attend the launch at 4pm at the Annotto Bay Primary School to learn more about Brown’s “plans to uplift South East St Mary.
