The People’s National Party (PNP) is celebrating Michael Manley’s centenary with the opening of an exhibit at its 89 Old Hope Road headquarters, honouring the life and legacy of one of Jamaica’s most transformative leaders.
The exhibit, which opened on his birthday, 10 December, and runs until 20 December, features an engaging collection of photographs, books, related documents, videos, and other memorabilia highlighting Michael Manley’s remarkable journey in both his personal and professional life.
“Michael Manley’s vision and contributions have left an indelible mark on Jamaica’s history. This exhibit allows us to reflect on his extraordinary legacy and his unwavering commitment to social justice and equality. We encourage everyone to visit and take part in this tribute to his life and work,” said Dr Dayton Campbell, General Secretary of the PNP.
The exhibit is open to the public on weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
