The People’s National Party (PNP) is mourning the loss of Councillor Lincoln Dixon, who died today (March 2).
Dixon was the party’s representative for the Islington division in Central St Mary. He was also the sitting chairman of the party’s Region Two.
In a statement on its Instagram account today, the party said it was deeply saddened by Dixon’s passing.
“Our hearts are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Cde Councillor Lincoln Dixon… . We send condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. We cherish the memories you gave us and will always remember your warm spirit and dedication to the People’s National Party,” the party wrote.
Opposition Leader Mark Golding also said he was saddened by Dixon’s passing, describing the councillor as a wonderful colleague who was dedicated to the people he represented.
