Stacey Knight, People’s National Party (PNP) caretaker candidate for St Andrew North Eastern, officially launched her manifesto for the constituency, unveiling what she calls a comprehensive plan to restore hope, rebuild trust, and deliver tangible results for residents.
The digital launch, which premiered across multiple platforms on Sunday afternoon (August 10), featured a dynamic mix of short-form videos, interactive posts, and a long-form presentation on YouTube.
The manifesto outlines four key priorities:
- Safer communities – Strengthening security partnerships and community policing initiatives.
- Economic upliftment – Creating jobs, supporting small businesses, and attracting investment.
- Youth empowerment – Expanding access to education, training, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
- Accountability and transparency – Ensuring residents can trust and verify how resources are used.
Speaking at the launch, Knight emphasised that leadership is measured by action, not just promises:
“The people of St. Andrew North Eastern deserve a representative who will listen to their needs, fight for their interests, and deliver real change. This manifesto is not just a document; it’s a contract with the people to build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous future.”
An attorney-at-law, educator, and community advocate, Knight is the daughter of PNP stalwart K.D. Knight. She is seeking to unseat incumbent Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) MP Delroy Chuck, who has held the seat for more than 27 years.

“I am confident, based on our internal polls, that on election day I will become the next Member of Parliament and begin implementing the transformation that St. Andrew North Eastern needs,” Knight declared.
