Police release sketch of suspects in Portland shooting

The Portland Police have released a composite sketch of two suspects in connection with a case of wounding with Intent and possession of a prohibited weapon in Mount Hermon, Swift River, in the parish, on Wednesday, February 04.

Reports from lawmen are that at about 3:00 pm, a man was walking along the roadway when a grey Suzuki Swift motorcar stopped, a man alighted from the vehicle, and opened fire, hitting him before fleeing the area.

The matter was reported to the police, and based on descriptions given, a composite sketch of two men was generated.

They are asked to turn themselves in to the Port Antonio Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) or any police station immediately.

In the meantime, the police are urging anyone with information to contact the Port Antonio CIB at 876-715-0013, Crime Stop at 311, the police emergency 119 number, or the nearest police station.
