Dancehall artiste Popcaan has abruptly cancelled his highly anticipated ‘Great Is He’ concert in London, leaving fans disappointed and baffled.
The cancellation was revealed in a statement from Unruly Entertainment, which said it was due to the actions of a now former critical member of the artiste’s team who failed to meet essential milestones during the event’s preparation. The incident is being investigated to assess if there was motive behind the chain of events.
“We understand the disappointment and frustration this cancellation will cause, and we want to express our sincere apologies to all the fans who had been looking forward to this event. Despite this setback, Popcaan remains committed to making things right. He is determined to reschedule the London concert and provide an unforgettable experience for all his fans,” Unruly Entertainment wrote.
The statement comes after the St Thomas revealed the line-up for the 2023 staging of his Unruly Fest in Jamaica. The comment section was filled with supporters from London who begged for the announcement of tickets for the promised London concert.

Popcaan shared in a post that while he will not be in London, he will still be on tour in Europe this year from November 19 to December 5, with stops in Dublin, Paris, Oslo, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Manchester, and Berlin.
“We still pulling up in [Europe], so get those tickets. To my loyal London family, my deepest apologies to everyone!! We still bringing @unrulyfest to London. You’ll get more details soon, I love you all, and thanks for supporting my movements all these years,” he wrote in a post on social media.
The cancellation leaves fans devasted but hopeful that the rescheduled concert will be an unforgettable night of music and unity, as promised by the dancehall artiste.
“The LITERAL place where his CORE fan base is. No investigation needed. Definitely badmind. Bigger & better soon pops,” one fan commented.
“Gutted! Due to how me deh here a wait pan London ticket release, I figured something like this was coming, but I failed to believe,” another wrote.
“Damn, we cursed for concerts in London! First Hus, now Popcaan! Amsterdam it is!!” said another fan.
