Dancehall artiste Popcaan has confirmed that there will be no Unruly Fest this year.
After a two-year hiatus, due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans on social media had started to speculate that the Jamaican deejay would resume the annual event that sees thousands journeying to St Thomas.
But Popcaan shattered all hopes in a tweet today (December 12), where he said:
“To my loyal fans and family, Unruly Fest will not be happening until next year, so in the mean let’s just pull up to the national stadium Dec 18. Dat is it!”

The 34-year-old will instead join Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, on stage at his concert in Jamaica. Though he will not be the main performer, Popcaan is encouraging all fans to support the event that will bring life to the National Stadium on December 18.
The concert is a part of the Last Last singer’s ‘Love Damini’ world tour.
In addition to the Unruly Boss, reggae singer and songwriter Lila Ike will also make an appearance.
Unruly Fest is usually held at the end of December, with the last show being held in 2019.
