Miami-based dancehall recording artiste Popeye Caution is celebrating the early signs of success of his new single ‘Gorgeous’, which debuted at number 11 on the Reggae iTunes Chart in the United States in less than 24 hours of its official release.

Produced by Belgian production collective Team DAMP, ‘Gorgeous’ is a vibrant, feel-good anthem that celebrates women, beauty, and self-confidence. Since its release, the single has sparked a surge of online activity, particularly on TikTok, where fans are embracing the track with empowering dance challenges and lifestyle content.

“I’m honestly surprised and elated,” shared Popeye Caution. “To see ‘Gorgeous’ climb the iTunes charts this quickly is a blessing. While based in Miami, Popeye Caution has kept strong ties with his Jamaican roots. He recently returned to the island for two major performances in Kingston —Ding Dong’s album launch, where he delivered a high-energy, and Aidonia’s birthday party, where he shared the stage with Ding Dong once again.
