The popular Spanish Town-based medical practitioner who was arrested by police on suspicions of breaching anti-gang laws was positively identified today in an identification parade.

He is 56-year-old Paul Robinson, who operates a medical practice on Young Street in the St Catherine capital. Robinson was arrested as part of investigations into the ‘Tesha Faction’ of the notorious Clansman Gang that operates in the Old Capital.

Formal charges under the Criminal Justice (Suppression of Criminal Organisations) Act are expected to be laid by tomorrow.

Robinson was previously charged for rape in 2007, however, the case was dismissed after the complainant failed to show up in court.
