When the grills fire up at the CB Foods PAN finals 2025 on the grounds of Jamaica College on August 31, judges and food lovers alike will not only be searching for the best PAN chicken, but also the first-ever Copperwood Pork PAN Champion after a smoky, flavour-packed showdown, filled with daring seasonings and mouthwatering creativity.
With the Copperwood Pork brand being one of the arms of the CB Foods Group, organisers of the event, they decided to add the pork competition aspect. Additionally, pork was added, given that PAN pork is equally as embraced and forms part of the unique food culture in Jamaica, as PAN chicken does.

Making the announcement on Tuesday evening (July 1) at the PAN 2025 launch event, held at La Vida Venue in St. Andrew, Khadine ‘Miss Kitty’ Wilkinson, host, made the announcement.
During an interview with Our Today, Nicole Hall, commercial marketing manager at CB Foods, further explained: “It’s no secret that Jamaicans love good PAN pork, so this year, we’re officially bringing PAN Pork into the competition to see who has the baddest pork on the PAN!”

“So, for the first time ever, Copperwood PAN Pork will take the spotlight, where six lucky past PAN chicken finalists will have a chance to go for the title. Each will be interviewed and selected not only for their skills, but also for their commitment to sustainability, integrating Copperwood Pork into their daily menus,” she continued.

“Whether they cater, run a restaurant, or operate a cookshop. It’s a long-awaited dream for the brand to be a part of the PAN competition,” Hall said.
The very first Copperwood Pork PAN Champion will be crowned live on stage at the finals, adding an exciting new chapter to PAN’s legacy.

The introduction of PAN Pork will be powered by Copperwood Pork – one of the brands distributed by CB Foods Limited. and an affiliate of the parent company CB Group. This elevates the competition and expands the PAN experience beyond just CB Chicken to showcasing the versatility and crave-worthy potential of Jamaican pork on a PAN.

The PAN Finals promise to draw pork lovers, passionate foodies, and culinary influencers eager to experience firsthand why Jamaica’s street-side pan culture is unmatched and why this year’s showdown on August 31, will be one to remember.
