Devon Cunningham.

Fifty-five-year-old Devon Cunningham, a linesman, died on Monday (June 16) after falling from a ladder during the squall line that brought strong winds across the island.

Cunningham, who was an employee of Mike’s WiFi, was reportedly running a wire when he fell.

Cunningham, who is a resident of Westchester, Portmore, was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he later died.

Another theory surrounding his death indicates that a delivery driver passing by may have snagged a section of the wire, causing Cunningham to become tangled and lose his balance.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Cunningham’s death are ongoing.
