The late Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite son, Prince Andrew, has been pressured to give up his titles due to further revelations of his connection to convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in his jail cell.

Prince Andrew’s wife, Sarah Ferguson, will no longer have the title Duchess of York. It was revealed that she, too, had an association with Epstein and received funding from him.

Both Prince Andrew and his wife have proven to be an embarrassment to the Royal Family. The Queen had to pay 12 million pounds to settle Virginia Giuffre’s accusation that her son committed sexual assault. The settlement ensured there was no admission of wrongdoing and that the matter was now concluded.

Epstein pled guilty to soliciting underage prostitution in 2008.

Prince Andrew said in a BBC interview that he barely knew Jeffrey Epstein and had cut ties with him in 2010. He went on to say he had never met Giuffre.

Then, emails were released of Prince Andrew writing to Epstein about the scandal, saying, “We are in this together and we will play more soon.”

Photos have been re-released of Sarah Ferguson having her toes sucked by her American lover, John Bryan.

The Royal Family found the Yorks’ behaviour unacceptable and distasteful.

Earlier today, Prince Andrew put out a statement which read: “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.

“With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”

Andrew will keep the title Prince, but is not an HRH, which will impact his Counsellor of State status. He will no longer hold the title Order of the Garter, and he relinquishes his position as Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victoria Order.

Virginia Giuffre’s family released a statement which read: “We, the family of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, believe that Prince Andrew’s decision to give up his titles is vindication for our sister and survivors everywhere. This decisive action is a powerful step forward in our fight to bring Jeffery Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s child sex trafficking network to justice.

“Further, we believe it is appropriate for King Charles to remove the title “Prince”.
