PROVEN appoints Tennyson Arnold as group chief operations officer

PROVEN, a Caribbean investment company, is announcing the appointment of Tennyson Arnold as its new Group Chief Operations Officer (COO). 

This strategic appointment underscores PROVEN’s commitment to strengthening operational excellence, embracing digital innovation, and accelerating growth across its diverse regional portfolio.

With over two decades of executive leadership experience spanning financial services, utilities, and agribusiness, Tennyson brings to the role a strong track record of delivering enterprise-wide transformation and optimizing organizational performance through technology and data-driven strategies.

As group COO, Tennyson will be responsible for overseeing PROVEN’s operational functions across its subsidiaries and investment holdings in Jamaica, St Lucia, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, and Bermuda. He will lead efforts in process re-engineering, digital modernisation, cost optimisation, and operational alignment, supporting the group’s long-term growth strategy and commitment to shareholder value.

Prior to joining PROVEN, Tennyson served as Deputy Chief Information Officer at the Jamaica National Group, where he successfully led enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including the modernisation of IT infrastructure, implementation of cybersecurity frameworks, and the enhancement of customer engagement platforms. His work significantly improved operational agility and service delivery across the organisation.

His career has also spanned senior leadership roles at major regional entities such as Caribbean Broilers, Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB), and Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS). Across these roles, he directed numerous high-impact projects, including ERP system rollouts, cloud adoption strategies, and large-scale change management programs, delivering measurable improvements in business efficiency and stakeholder value.

Tennyson holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies and is currently pursuing an MBA from Heriot-Watt University. He also serves on the boards of the National Health Fund and the Development Bank of Jamaica, contributing to national development initiatives in healthcare and economic advancement.

Outside of his professional achievements, Tennyson is known for his passion for fitness and well-being and is a family-oriented individual who values work-life balance and personal growth. His leadership style reflects his values of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
