PROVEN Group directors have received notice from PROVEN Management Limited (PML) that long-standing co-founder and CEO Christopher Williams will retire from his role in PML’s day-to-day operations effective January 31, 2025.
In a statement confirming an Our Today story on July 18, PROVEN noted that Williams has served as president and CEO of PROVEN Management Limited since inception.
Furthermore, Williams’ January 31, 2025 exit date coincides with PROVEN Group’s 15th anniversary.
Over this period, PROVEN has grown into one of the Caribbean’s premier providers of financial solutions, with significant strategic expansion, including the launch of PROVEN Wealth (Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, and Barbados), PROVEN Properties, PROVEN Private Capital and PROVEN Bank (with operations in St. Lucia and the Cayman Islands).
While retiring from daily executive operations, Williams will remain a significant shareholder, active director of PML, and a member of the investment management committee. He will also continue to sit on the board of directors of several PROVEN Group subsidiaries. In these capacities, Williams’ expertise, strategic insight, and guidance, will remain an invaluable asset to the ongoing growth and success of the Group.
Reflecting on his decision, Williams said, “It has been a privilege to lead PROVEN Management Limited and work alongside such a talented and dedicated executive and wider team, to realise the vision and objectives of the board and shareholders of PROVEN Group. Together, we have built a company that stands at the forefront of investment in the Caribbean. The board of directors of PROVEN Group expressed their gratitude for Williams’ exemplary service and his indelible impact on the company.

An avid sports enthusiast, Williams will be travelling during the August 2024 Olympic season and will return to office in September 2024. As PROVEN prepares for this transition, Williams will provide ongoing support and mentorship to the group’s management team throughout the transition process.
