PROVEN Properties and joint venture partner SAJE Logistics Infrastructure Limited have officially broken ground on its latest commercial development—the Gateway Logistics Hub, a US$13 million investment poised to elevate Jamaica’s standing as a regional logistics powerhouse.
The new development will transform just under four acres of prime real estate on Marcus Garvey Drive into a state-of-the-art complex designed to meet global warehousing standards.
Addressing dignitaries, stakeholders, and media at the groundbreaking ceremony, Aisha Campbell, CEO of PROVEN Properties Limited, described the project as a symbol of innovation, resilience, and strategic foresight.
“Today marks a pivotal moment for PROVEN Properties Limited, and we are deeply grateful for the presence of each of you here to witness this milestone,” she said.
Campbell explained that the company’s expansion into logistics stems from both opportunity and a sense of responsibility. She noted that Jamaica’s position as a gateway to the Americas—coupled with growing global demand for efficient supply chains—makes investment in logistics not only timely, but critical.
“We are not just constructing warehouses—we are building gateways that connect businesses to regional and global markets,” she added. “This project aligns with our vision to catalyse economic growth, create jobs, and position Jamaica as a logistics hub of choice.”
The Gateway Logistics Hub will feature 21 modern warehouse units, offering a combined 112,000 square feet of rentable space. The design includes two floors with dedicated storage, lobbies, loading docks, powder rooms, storage closets, rooftop potable water tanks, and standby generators. The complex will also include a 20,000-gallon fire water storage tank, garbage collection facilities, and generous parking.

Campbell also emphasised the location’s unique advantages, noting that the hub sits between downtown Kingston and Newport West, with seamless access to Port Bustamante, Spanish Town Road, and the Portmore toll road.
Its proximity to Kingston Wharves, Kingston Freeport Terminal, and Tinson Pen Aerodrome will allow businesses to operate more efficiently and competitively.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness in his keynote address praised the initiative as an example of the private sector answering the call to support national development and Jamaica’s logistics aspirations. Also in attendance were Mayor of Kingston Andrew Swaby, and Opposition Spokesperson on Global Trade and Logistics, Anthony Hylton, underscoring the project’s broad national significance and the shared vision for economic progress.
Reflecting on the project’s journey, Campbell acknowledged the many hurdles that had to be overcome to reach this point. From navigating global supply chain disruptions to securing prime land, she credited her team’s resilience and dedication.
The launch also represents a new chapter for the company, which rebranded from PREIT to PROVEN Properties Limited.
“This venture crystallises this new chapter for our company,” Campbell said. “Our rebranding reflects our evolution—a renewed focus on delivering PROVEN, innovative, and sustainable solutions.”

Campbell called the project a foundation for future progress—not just for PROVEN and SAJE, but for Jamaica.
“As we lay our blocks today, we do more than build warehouses. We ignite economic potential. We create opportunities. And in 2025, PROVEN Properties is prepared to Elevate: people. process. product.”
The Gateway Logistics Hub is expected to be completed in 2026.
