Raymond Pryce, the People’s National Party (PNP) Member of Parliament aspirant for East Central St Catherine, is calling on the electorate to vote by 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 3.

During his address on Saturday, August 30 at the end of the PNP Tour in Portmore, St Catherine, Pryce said he is absolutely confident that the PNP will sweep all three seats, Dr Alfred Dawes (South East St Catherine hopeful) and Fitz Jackson, who will be seeking a re-election for his seat in South St. Catherine, where the Caribbean’s largest community of Portmore is located and East Central St Catherine.

“You and 10 must vote by 10:00. By 10 o’clock, if you count yourself and yu lick yourself and you seh one, you must find 10 other people, so 11 of unu must vote by 10!” Pryce shouted to the comrades gathered in the streets of Portmore.

“And then at 11:00 [am], 10 more again!” he said.

He also had a “new motto” for the PNP supporters, which was “New PM by 1:00 pm”.

Pryce will face off against the Jamaica Labour Party’s favourite, Alando Terrelonge. Although he never won the seat before, Pryce is very confident he will be victorious this time around, and that the PNP will also gain the majority of the 63 seats in the lower house at the end of the count on Wednesday night.

With the PNP members having issues in the past regarding the most suitable person for leadership, Pryce sought to crush the rumours that the party is still undivided and not all comrades want Mark Golding to lead.

“We full a love ina di PNP, that’s why we give them 3-love ina di Debates… The only thing that Andrew could do, was tangle up himself,” Pryce, who was also involved in one of the political debates, said, which energised the comrades to blow their vuvuzelas.
