

Racing United raced to the top of the Wray and Nephew Jamaican Premier League despite being held to a 0-0 draw by Dunbeholden at Drewsland Mini-Stadium on Sunday.
Racing United, which was promoted to the Premier League in 2024, have dropped its first points of the season, but it is enough to remain at the top of the league with 10 points with a game in hand.
Racing started their second season in top-flight football with a bang. They beat Waterhouse 2-1, whipped Arnett Gardens 5-1 and trounced newboys Treasure Beach 4-2. Dunbeholden are in seventh spot with seven points courtesy of two wins, one draw and two defeats from their five games.
In the second game at Drewsland, Portmore United blanked Montego Bay United 2-0 and moved into second spot on 10 points, the same as Racing but with an inferior goal difference. Peter McGregor opened the scoring in the 30th minute before Javier Brown put the icing on the cake in minute 83 for their third win from five games.
Montego Bay United, which finished fourth last season, are in third spot, also with 10 points after suffering its first defeat of the season.
At Sabina Park, champions Cavalier edged Treasure Beach two 2-1 courtesy of two penalties scored by Christopher Ainsworth (8th) and Daryl Massicot (61st).

It was Cavalier’s second win as they halted the two-game losing streak and are in sixth spot with seven points. Jaheim Harris had pulled Treasure Beach levelled in the 40th minute, but they failed to capitalise on their chances and suffered their third defeat, dropping to 11th position with four points.
At the Edward Seaga Stadium, home team Tivoli Gardens and Molynes United played to a 1-1 draw.
An own goal by Alton Lewis gave Molynes United the lead in the 57th minute before Kavan Wilson earned a share of the points for Tivoli Gardens netting in minute 81.
Tivoli Gardens are sitting in 10th spot on five points, while Molynes United are second from bottom in 13th spot with three points.
On Monday, Arnett Gardens clipped home team Waterhouse FC 2-1and jumped into fifth spot with nine points, just one point behind the leaders. Waterhouse FC are eight on six points.
In the curtain raiser, Phoenix Chapelton Maroon and the promoted Spanish Town Police played to a 0-0 draw. Despite inching to 10 points, Phoenix dropped from second to fourth, while Spanish Town Police are at the bottom of the table with one point.
