Great Britain will be without Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter when they face Australia in their Billie Jean King Cup qualifier next month.
Raducanu, the British number one and world number 24, will instead compete in the WTA 500 clay court event in Linz, Austria, while Boulter, ranked 64th, will also miss the tie.
GB captain Anne Keothavong has called up Sonay Kartal, Harriet Dart, Jodie Burrage, and 17-year-old Mika Stojsavljevic, with a fifth player to be named closer to the match in Melbourne on April 10-11.
Kartal will aim to continue her recent strong form after reaching the fourth round at Indian Wells before withdrawing due to a lower back injury on Wednesday (March 11).
Australia have named a strong squad of their own, including Talia Gibson, who reached the Indian Wells quarterfinals with wins over three top 20 players, alongside Maya Joint, Storm Hunter, Kimberly Birrell, and Ellen Perez.
The eight-team Billie Jean King Cup finals are set for Shenzhen in September, with Great Britain looking to build on last year’s semi-final run.
