British rapper and record producer M.I.A has come out with a new clothing and accessories line made of foil aimed at protecting its wearer from 5G waves.

The ‘Paper Planes’ singer announced the launch of clothing brand OHMNI’s website and stated that the clothing she offers is necessary for those who want to preserve their autonomy and rights over their bodies in this technological age.

“In the time of smart cities, digital crypto, AI, NeuraLink, hackable humans, zero privacy, deep mind, internal body data harvesting, and indiscriminate tracking surveillance, mind data mining, social media overload, augmented reality, social credit system, virtual dystopian minefield, we bring you the revolutionary future of fashion,” M.I.A explained to fans on Instagram.

“OHMNI is your last frontier at preserving your privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and your data. This is not your artist foray into fashion. This is a necessity (sic).”

The 48-year-old’s music career took off after her hit song ‘Paper Planes’ in 2008 and has had medium fame since then, mostly falling into obscurity in the late 2010s.

She signed with Island Records in 2022.

M.I.A claims that her brand’s hats can “block 99.99 per cent of Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G…”

The collection includes a $100 hat with brain coverage, a $200 data protection dump bag, and a $200 full protection poncho promising to shield the wearer’s “brain, gut, lungs, heart, and womb.”

“If the conspiracy theorists are wrong, good for you, you own some beautiful clothes made with pure silver and precious metals. But, if they are right, you just might have saved the future of humanity.” she posted to her TikTok.

Public reactions to M.I.A’s conspiracy theory-themed clothing line have been mixed on social media. Some folks gave her the nod of approval and others showed concern for the rapper.
