RCI Realty Plus Limited, one of Jamaica’s leading real estate firms, carried out a cleanup and beautification project at the Glenmore Early Childhood Centre in Franklyn Town, Kingston. Agents and team members from RCI Realty Plus, along with volunteers and participating parents, on May 23, 2025, worked together to repaint, clean, and refresh the grounds of the longstanding early childhood institution.
Located in one of Kingston’s underserved communities, Glenmore Early Childhood Centre has long
provided foundational education and support to families in Franklyn Town.
“This Labour Day project is more than a one-day effort; it reflects RCI’s ongoing commitment to
uplifting the communities where we live and operate,” said Wilton Mayne, Broker and CEO of RCI
Realty Plus Limited.
“At RCI, we see real estate as a platform for empowering people and strengthening communities. Our
values of teamwork, environmental care, and investing in the next generation align perfectly with this
initiative. We are proud to play a part in creating a brighter, cleaner space for the children and
teachers of Glenmore.”
The effort was carried out in partnership with House of SDM, a community-focused organisation that
works with communities across Jamaica to support education, development, and social well-being.
“Partnering with RCI Realty Plus was a natural fit,” said Sheldon Millington, Chairman of House of
SDM. “RCI is a nation-builder that values education and believes in early childhood development.
Glenmore Early Childhood Centre is the pride of Franklyn Town and has shaped generations of
children. We’re proud to contribute to its legacy and to work with a partner like RCI that shares our
vision of community upliftment.”
The Glenmore Early Childhood Centre has been a cornerstone of the Franklyn Town community for
over five decades, serving hundreds of children and families. According to Sophia Jackson, Principal of the school, the Labour Day initiative has improved the school’s physical environment and lifted its
overall spirit and appeal.

“This initiative means a great deal to us—staff, students, and the wider community,” said Principal
Jackson. “The fresh paint, the clean surroundings, and the vibrant new look are more than cosmetic
changes. They show the children that they matter. By day’s end, the school’s walls were newly
painted, its grounds refreshed, and its spirit lifted. A welcoming space was restored for young
learners. Glenmore is a source of pride for Franklyn Town, and thanks to the work of RCI Realty Plus
and House of SDM, the school now better reflects the promise and potential inside.”
RCI Realty Plus Limited remains committed to supporting initiatives that foster stronger, healthier
communities across Jamaica. This reflects the company’s belief that real estate should improve lives
beyond property transactions.
