While Reggae Sumfest 2025 thrilled thousands with electrifying performances from local and international stars, it was a bold new flavour from Red Stripe that created an unexpected buzz offstage.

Making its official debut at the festival, Red Stripe Flavours Mango drew steady crowds to the brand’s Chill Yard activation, offering festivalgoers a refreshing new way to experience the island’s biggest music event.

The two-night festival showcase, held July 18–19 at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre, featured powerhouse performances from Vybz Kartel, Govana, Masicka, Toni Braxton, and Lila Ike, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged. Amidst the musical revelry, the Red Stripe Flavours Chill Yard offered a welcome retreat—complete with seating, ambient lighting, and ice-cold beverages, headlined by the newly launched Mango flavour.

“Sumfest is one of the most authentic expressions of Jamaican culture,” said Arnaldo Martin, brand manager for Red Stripe Flavours. “It’s where people come to celebrate, connect, and just enjoy themselves. That’s exactly the spirit we wanted to tap into with this launch; the kind of moment where you’re vibing with friends, soaking it all in, and enjoying a drink that matches the mood.”

Red Stripe Mango joins the Flavours lineup as a crisp, tropical beer crafted for refreshment and enjoyment. With a growing demand for fruit-forward, flavourful brews this launch tapped into both consumer trends and the vibrant cultural energy of Sumfest.

The Chill Yard activation aimed to complement rather than compete with the festival’s fast pace, creating a ‘cool-down’ zone where patrons could recharge without missing a beat. “It wasn’t about pulling people away from the action,” Martin explained. “It was about adding a new layer to the experience and judging by the response, we struck the right balance.”

The launch was met with enthusiastic reviews, including from Zip FM radio personality Wesley ‘Hitwes’ Hylton, who said, “I’m a professional mango man, and it tastes like East Indian and a splash of Julie…it tastes good!”

Looking ahead, Red Stripe Flavours plans to roll out the Mango variant at other key events across the island, continuing its mission to deliver flavourful, easygoing moments rooted in Jamaican culture.

“Jus a Chill” may be the platform—but for Red Stripe Mango, the vibe is just getting started.
